2013 Men's State Conference in Alabama

Come and see - Strong Men Strong Faith, a Catholic men's conference will take place on Sunday, February 10th at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Huntsville, located at 625 Airport Rd SW, Huntsville, Alabama, and Monday, February 11th at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Hoover, Alabama

This year's State Conference will feature three dynamic speakers, over two nights at two locations, so that men from all over the area will be able to attend this pre-lenten event. This 10th annual conference is designed for busy men who are interested in deepening their Catholic faith. Last year saw over 1500 men attending this conference, and we look forward to seeing more this year. Advanced online registration is $10.00, and registration at the door will be $15.00.

We areblessed to bring you guest speakers who are dynamic, very spiritual and are nothing less than excellent Catholics who are genuinely drawn to the Lord. They come from both Catholic backgrounds, and converts from other faiths who have come home. We promise that you'll find them very inspiring, and that their message will certainly move your hearts towards Christ.
This year, we are featured:

Tim Staples Tim Staples is Director of Apologetics and Evangelism at Catholic Answers, but he was not always Catholic. Raised a Southern Baptist, Tim fell away from his faith, but came back in his late teens. Tim joined the Marine Corps, and in his last year enlisted, he was challenged to to study Catholicism from Catholic and historical sources. That encounter sparked a two year search for the truth, in which Tim set out to disprove Catholicism, and ended up in the last place he ever thought he would be: the Catholic Church!	Alan Keyes One of the greatest orators of our time, Alan Keyes has long been recognized for his leadership within the conservative movement. His eloquent advocacy of our Constitutional Republic, and championing of pro-life principles underscore Alan's recognition and respect for the moral basis of liberty and self-government. Alan proudly served as a high-level diplomat during Ronald Reagan's presidency, including time as ambassador to the United Nations Economic and Social Council as asst. secretary of state for int'l organizations.	Curtis Martin Curtis Martin is the President and Founder of FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students), one of the fastest growing movements in the Catholic Church. In reflecting on the work of FOCUS, Cardinal Timothy Dolan stated, "If you're looking for hope, look to FOCUS" Whether he is on college campuses or on Television, at conferences or working with corporate America, Curtis is an award-winning and proven dynamic speaker who has the ability to help his audience discover a vision for life.
